Marie developed her creativity and passion for design through the use of brightly acidic colours, and experimentation with different drawing​s and painting techniques. A specialist in original digitally printed textiles for fashion, her inspiration comes from flora, fauna, and her environmental surroundings.

Combining a mixture of Gouache, Procyon dyes, water colour and ink to create ambiguous contrasts of deep colour, Marie is able to digitally manipulate her artwork to form abstract, geometric, and often floral designs.

 

As a way of enhancing her work, she often experiments with laser cutting, foiling, and hand silkscreen printing.
